Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Fix My Settings (3dprofilefix.com). They are written to be read: what the service does, how points work, what we promise, and what we don’t.

Last updated: 9 July 2026

1. What the service is

Fix My Settings is a diagnosis tool for FDM 3D printing. It asks about your printer, filament and problem, optionally reads your uploaded slicer profile or .3mf project, and produces recommended setting changes based on manufacturers’ official slicer profiles and documented troubleshooting knowledge. Optional paid features add AI-assisted analysis (for example of a photo of a failed print) and generated, ready-to-import fixed profile files. The free features run in your browser and require no account.

2. Accounts

Accounts are created by email using magic-link sign-in; there are no passwords. You are responsible for access to the email address on your account, since anyone who controls that inbox can sign in. You can request deletion of your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy).

3. Points

4. Recommendations are starting points, not guarantees

All output of the service — rule-based recommendations, health checks, AI analyses and generated profile files — consists of qualified starting points based on the manufacturers’ official slicer profiles and known troubleshooting, not guarantees. 3D printers, filaments and environments vary; you remain responsible for reviewing every suggested value in your slicer before printing, for changing one thing at a time, and for operating your printer safely and within its manufacturer’s limits. We are not affiliated with Bambu Lab or any printer or filament manufacturer; product names are used to identify compatibility.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service (for example, systematic circumvention of limits or fraudulent point acquisition). Where reasonable, we will warn you first. You may stop using the service at any time; unused points on a terminated-for-abuse account are forfeited to the extent the law allows.

7. Liability

The service is provided “as is”, and to the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties and limit our total liability to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. In particular, we are not liable for damage to printers, plates, filament or printed parts resulting from applying recommended settings — see section 4. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (including liability for gross negligence or intent).

8. Changes to the service and these terms

The service is in active development (labelled beta); features may change. We may update these terms; the “last updated” date above will change, and material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect. Continued use after a change means acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Danish law, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Danish courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
