SV06, SV06 Plus and SV06 ACE are open bedslingers with no enclosure and no auxiliary fan. SV07 is the same open-frame class with a Klipper-based control board. SV08 is an open-frame CoreXY — Tom's Hardware's review specifically notes it ships with only mounting holes for a later enclosure, not a built-in one. Sovol Zero is the outlier: fully enclosed by design, aimed at small, precise parts rather than speed.

Cooling and the enclosure question

Because SV06/SV06 Plus/SV06 ACE/SV07/SV08 are all open-frame, cooling on this side of the lineup is a pure part-fan story: no chamber heat cushions ABS or ASA, so those materials need the standard tent-and-brim treatment or they'll warp exactly like any other open bedslinger — the SV08's CoreXY speed doesn't change that physics. The Zero's real enclosure is the one place in the range where chamber heat genuinely helps engineering filaments, at the usual cost of needing to keep PLA from overheating inside it.

What tends to go wrong on Sovol printers
